Robin has been practicing many crafts for decades, but it wasn’t until she wanted a fabric print she couldn’t find for her totes that she discovered the art of block printing. Consumed by the idea of mixing colors and layering prints, her totes became the canvas for experiments in design.

Several years of work with this form has led to a new direction in 2019, as the koi prints required a much larger canvas to realize her vision. Experimentation has added stenciling and rolling inks on both the larger pieces and the totes. mixed media has presented a wider choice of materials and opportunity to explore new ideas.

Self-taught with the assistance of talented friends and the internet, Robin continues to explore the medium, both on the totes that she sells through her shop and through larger art pieces.
