For years I’ve been convinced that I am an introvert solely on the basis that I absolutely have to have time by myself to recharge. Working from home is a gift and I am infinitely grateful that I don’t have to show up to an office every day with pleasantries and wearing my best face.
Today I had a planned outing around some vehicle recall work that could only be done in town. I was going to look for inspiration in some favorite places. I was going to have conversations and observe people. I was going to wander around outside and be filled by things other than my imagination.
There was no one to observe. People are scarce.
Fear is a powerful agent and we are full of fear right now.
