Knitting Class for Kids

I've been working on a fun project for the kids to learn to knit - a felted zippered pencil case!  ​Mine is drying in the sun right now.  This is a pattern that can be felted or not, depending on your preference, and is a nice mix of garter stitch and stockinette (knit one side, purl the back), making it feel a little like a sampler.
